Identification:
A very small, slender gecko with a narrow head, fine limbs, and a long tail. It is a desert-adapted Pristurus. Its color is usually sandy-grey to pale brown, helping it blend with gravel, hard sand, and sparse desert vegetation.

Habitat:
Hard sandy desert, gravel plains, bare gravel, rocky desert patches, and sparse vegetation areas.

Status in the UAE:
Native resident. Not endemic.

Diet:
Small insects and other tiny arthropods.

Behavior:
A small, active ground gecko. It is associated with open desert ground rather than vertical cliffs. Like other Pristurus, it may use tail movements and body posture for signalling.

Conservation Status:
Least Concern (LC).
