Identification:
A small, delicate warbler with a slim build and fine bill. The plumage is generally olive-green above with pale yellowish underparts. It shows a faint but noticeable pale supercilium (eyebrow). Compared to similar species, it often appears slightly more yellow-toned with longer wings. Legs are typically pale.

Habitat:
Woodlands, forest edges, gardens, scrublands, and areas with trees or bushes, especially during migration.

Status in Lebanon:
Common passage migrant. Widespread across the country during spring and autumn migration.

Diet:
Insectivorous — feeds on insects, larvae, and small invertebrates.

Behavior:
Active and constantly moving through foliage. Feeds by picking insects from leaves and branches. Often flicks its wings and tail subtly. Usually solitary during migration. More often detected by movement than by sound.
