The Crested Lark (Galerida cristata) is a medium-sized passerine bird widely distributed across Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and parts of Asia. Recognizable by its distinctive crest, which it raises when alert or displaying, this lark has a sandy-brown plumage with streaked patterns that provide excellent camouflage in dry, open habitats.
