Turtles of the UAE and Lebanon

Turtles are a distinctive part of the freshwater and coastal wildlife found across the UAE and Lebanon. This collection documents turtle species encountered during our fieldwork, from freshwater habitats, wetlands and rivers to coastal and marine environments. Through wildlife photography, we aim to record these species in their natural surroundings while highlighting their diversity, habitats and the important role they play within aquatic ecosystems.
