Bar-headed Goose \ Anser indicus

The Bar-headed Goose (Anser indicus), known in Arabic as, is a medium-sized goose best recognized by its pale grey body, white head, two bold black bars across the head, dark hindneck, and yellow bill and legs. It is a Central Asian species that breeds around high-altitude lakes and wetlands and winters mainly in South Asia, and it is famous for its high-altitude migration across the Himalayan region. The species is currently treated as Least Concern (LC) globally.
