How to Achieve the Impossible
Between October and November 2025 — in just 24 days — I photographed four of the UAE’s most elusive birds of prey: the Pharaoh Eagle-Owl, Osprey, Little Owl, and Pallid Scops Owl. Each encounter lasted two hours, the result of research, coordination, and a team working quietly behind the scenes. Most photographers spend entire seasons to capture what took weeks of discipline, planning, and patience — proving that with respect and stillness, even the impossible can be achieved.
Where I Least Expected It: Wildlife Photography in the UAE
When I moved from Lebanon — a land of forests, rivers, and mountains — to the seemingly harsh deserts of the UAE, I expected my wildlife photography journey to slow down. Instead, I uncovered an entirely new world teeming with birds, mammals, and breathtaking landscapes. From coastal shorelines to rugged mountain peaks, the Emirates proved to be one of the most surprising and rewarding environments I’ve ever photographed.
Three Years, Two Dream Lenses — A Wild Journey in Wildlife Photography
I began my wildlife photography journey in 2022 — and in just a few short years, I’ve grown faster than I ever imagined. With years of prior experience in other photography fields and access to dream lenses like the 500mm and 800mm primes, I started from a place most photographers only reach after a decade. Here's how that changed everything — and what I’d tell new photographers today.

Nothing is Guaranteed Except Change
Wildlife photography is all about persistence and patience. No matter how much research and preparation you do, nothing is guaranteed. Photographer or Hunter? / مصور ام صياد
Since I started bird photography in 2022, my progress has been incredible. I’ve improved in composition, angles, and getting closer to my subjects. I’ve also transitioned to photographing more challenging animals like foxes and badgers. The key to my success has been applying hunting techniques—scouting, camouflage, studying behavior, and using tools like binoculars and game callers.
