Amphibians of the UAE and Lebanon
A searchable amphibian photography and species guide built from field records across the United Arab Emirates and Lebanon.
This amphibian photography collection brings together species photographed during fieldwork in the United Arab Emirates and Lebanon. It includes frogs and toads recorded across mountains, wadis, wetlands, freshwater pools, agricultural areas and other habitats where seasonal or permanent water supports amphibian life.
Use the filters to explore frogs and toads documented across the collection. Species can also be filtered by conservation status.
Each card links to an individual species page containing photographs, the scientific name and additional information where available. For visitors interested specifically in the UAE, the collection also connects to wildlife habitats, field locations and photography resources covering different environments across the country.
This is a growing field-based collection rather than a complete national checklist. New species and updated records are added as they are documented.
