Keyserling's Wonder Gecko \ Teratoscincus keyserlingii is critically endangered due to its highly limited and fragmented habitat, primarily coastal sand dunes in the northwestern region.

The Eurasian Oystercatcher (Haematopus ostralegus) is classified as "Near Threatened " on the IUCN Red List due to threats such as habitat loss, human disturbance, and climate change. very hard to find and harder to get close to.

Although globally listed as Least Concern, the Desert Hedgehog (Paraechinus aethiopicus) is rarely seen in the wild due to its secretive, night-time habits.

Sociable Lapwing (Vanellus gregarius) is currently estimated to number about 11,200 mature individuals globally, though past extrapolations placed the total at 16,000-17,000 birds. It is classified as Critically Endangered and remains in steep decline.
