Forest Wildlife Photography

Forests and wooded habitats create some of the richest wildlife environments I photograph. From the mountain forests of Lebanon to pockets of woodland and planted habitats in the UAE, these environments provide shelter, feeding grounds and breeding habitat for a remarkable variety of species.

This collection brings together birds, mammals and reptiles encountered during field photography, including owls, cuckoos, shrikes, foxes, golden jackals, squirrels, stone martens, badgers and snakes. Some are easily observed during daylight, while others reveal themselves only after hours of searching or during the quietest parts of the night.

Every photograph represents a real wildlife encounter and documents another part of the biodiversity living within these complex habitats.
